More About My New Novel The Prodigal Band Aftermath: More About Why Dumlat Created His AI Company, Origin

The previous post, where invisible ‘spirit being’ Morwenna witnesses a secret meeting between Origin Company owner Dumlat and a new shareholder, gives Dumlat’s family background, satanic roots, and why he wanted to create a company devoted to AI, artificial intelligence. And partially explained why he calls himself Dumlat, which is not his real name. In this post, Morwenna, as a human, not an invisible spirit being, questions her Origin company human resources boss, Rita—who had been friends with Dumlat during their college days—about if what Morwenna believed regarding Dumlat’s evil agenda using AI to control ‘the masses.’ And why Rita, a Christian, was hired by a Satanist. The snippet, from Chapter Three of The Prodigal Band Aftermath (copyright © 2026 by Deborah Lagarde) is below:

But it wasn’t just the name of that ‘holy’ book that concerned Morwenna. The fact that Dumlat was the son of a man, Otto Franks, that she knew committed many evil deeds including rape, caught her attention.

(She then mentioned one of the evil deeds Otto Franks committed, rape against a burgeoning movie star)

Further, Morwenna also believed that many children of top media moguls such as Franks were raised to follow that same evil lifestyle, and Dumlat, Levitt Franks, may also have been abused by his parents, which could be the reason Dumlat ensconced himself in the online gaming world and then created computer generated images as if he was creating his own gaming world. His own fake world he would rule over, which would lead him into the idea of creating his world that would rule over reality using artificial intelligence.

Morwenna soon came to the conclusion that she was correct regarding Dumlat’s motivation to create such a fake ‘reality.’ Having learned about a month after she witnessed that  conversation between Dumlat and the shareholder that Origin was going to move to Texas in March, 2026, she met with Rita on the pretext that she would quit her job when the move took place. However, the true reason she had to meet with Rita was to find out if her thoughts about Dumlat’s scheme were true.

“You once told me, Rita, that Dumlat was heavily into computer games and that the games, the computer generated images in these games, so fascinated Dumlat that he began creating his own gaming images which he would use for wanting to create his own online gaming scenarios that would capture the attention of game creators who would buy his gaming ideas—”

“Yes,” Rita answered, “That was really what caused Dumlat to invest as much as he could into founding Origin back in 2020. It was the perfect time, what with the plague that occurred then, where many young folks felt forced to stay indoors so as not to catch the disease. Never mind that the so-called plague was a set-up by the rulers of this world, including the Rockfords—”

“Who Dumlat is related to, correct?”

“Yes, on his mother’s side,” Rita nodded. “So, Dumlat knew it was a fake plague, and knew he had this golden opportunity to create a gaming and artificial online platform to create his start-up company, Origin. Since we knew each other from college, he wanted to hire me to manage human resources as employees are called. That way, I could see what he was up to using his artificial reality, his true scheme, for I sensed he wanted as much power and control over humanity as he could connive his way into and also sensed he was up to no good. Like his mentors including the Rockfords and folks like Otto Franks who revel in evil deeds.”

“So you know his plan is to create a fake reality that the so-called masses will desire to live in because they buy into the notion that they will have some control over the fake reality they will create using gaming and artificial intelligence and live happily in their fake world instead of understanding their fake world is nothing but an alternative to a truthfully empty reality.”

“Yes. He wants the masses to believe they create a happy world with fake artificial beings, since he will convince the masses that to not partake in his gaming scheme will lead them to emptiness, when in fact he wants them to live in the truly empty reality they will in fact create thinking it is a fulfilling life. In other words, he wants complete control over humanity, and complete denial of the Creator, God!”

The mention of God caused Morwenna to ask this question—“Does Dumlat know you believe in Jesus Christ?”

Rita smiled and cocked her head in anticipation of this question from Morwenna. “Yes, but he thinks I am not really committed to Christ, and, thus, he thinks I work for him because I know him from college and because he thinks I’m into gaming technology, since I majored in online technology at (college). I also suspect that he thinks that by hiring a Christian to manage human resources that it makes him seem to appear to be a person that is not anti-Christ. In other words, his hiring a Christian like me is just a façade o he won’t appear to be evil, as he truly is.”

Morwenna nodded, thinking, That is what he told that shareholder—he hired a Christian so that he would fool Christians into thinking he was okay with their religion. Deception, just deception.

Hopefully, the next post, either from Chapter Three or Chapter Four, will be posted sometime later in January. Have a blessed New Year!

More About My New Novel The Prodigal Band Aftermath: About Dumlat, the Evil Owner of Origin AI Company…And Merry Christmas!

Since I want to wish readers a Merry Christmas, I decided to post this short snippet from Chapter Three of The Prodigal Band Aftermath today, Christmas Eve. I’ll be too busy tomorrow to post it on Christmas Day.

The snippet begins Chapter Three, which follows the Shareholder meeting Origin AI company owner and CEO Dumlat posted in the previous snippet post here, whereby Dumlat is questioned by a new shareholder, who happens to share much of what Dumlat believes. The shareholder, a man, asks about Dumlat’s history and why he calls himself Dumlat, which is not his real name.

From the beginning of Chapter Three of The Prodigal Band Aftermath, copyright © 2025 Deborah Lagarde:

After the meeting, Dumlat converses with a Shareholder

“I was told by another shareholder that Dumlat is not your real name.” The man was a new key shareholder who had just attended his first key shareholder meeting. “Can you tell me your real name?”

Dumlat smiled and then answered. “Levitt Franks.”

Shock, for the Franks family was well known to be related to one of the most elite banking dynasty families—the Rockfords, who used Mr. Y—Yakimoro—as their front man. “Oh my God— Really? You are related to the Rockfords?” The man’s eyes popped wide open in amazement.

“Yes. My mother is a daughter of theirs. Before marrying my father, Otto Franks, her trust fund was worth two hundred billion dollars. Her fortune enabled my father to buy his way into the top of the Hollywood movie mogul chain with Tantamount Pictures. It was this use of my family’s huge fortune that allowed me to start up Origin, and it was my family’s connection to images and movies and scripts that caused me to create many CGI images and videos based on those images that my father taught me how to create. Which is why I basically own and control Origin.”

Delight entered the mind of the new shareholder, for he too was into artificial intelligence and controlling the masses using it. But then he thought about why did Levitt Franks re-name himself ‘Dumlat’?

“So, do you call yourself ‘Dumlat’ to hide your connection to one of the most powerful families on Earth?”

“You could put it that way. My family, all of it, are in fact power-seekers, addicted to controlling money and love it! We are consumers of blood at every meal—” Haughty laugh.

“Satanists?”

“Yes. We commit what some call evil because we seek power and money and pleasure, and control over the useless masses who we use to our advantage. And I call myself ‘Dumlat’ because there is a set of texts, religious ones, that seeks to destroy that so-called ‘God’ and that so-called ‘son’ of his, that Jesus Christ garbage.”

“The set of texts is called—”

“I cannot reveal to you or anyone the name of these set of texts. But they are indeed anti-Christ and inspired by the god I worship. There are other texts and verses in this holy book that oppose evil, but the set of texts that inspired me are only those that oppose Christ.”

The other man nodded, not with agreement, but with understanding. Further, the man would not concern himself with the name of this so-called ‘holy book.’

So why was this anti-Christ Dumlat connected to Rita, who aids his AI-cause and is Christian? He uses her as a cover for his anti-Christ beliefs, for he does not want ‘the masses’ to know he is devilishly allied with THE anti-Christ, Satan, also called Corion by some of his associates.

Morwenna, who was invisible during the meeting, remained invisible as she witnessed the conversation between Dumlat and the shareholder. Further, she had angelic spirit being intuition as to the name of that ‘holy book.’

Then she heard one of the Tooters tell her this: “Do not reveal the name of this book to anyone, please, Morwenna. The texts that inspired Dumlat into satanic thinking are not based on any religion, but on the evil some in that religion partake in. All religions, including Christianity, have to some extent through flawed humanity adopted doctrines that were never meant to be adopted.”

She replied, “Will do. As some Christians say, ‘Christ, not religion’.”

I do not know when I will post next what with Chapter Three being a “wip” as many authors use that term, meaning “work in progress” (I don’t know an author who does not use the term “wip”!), but hopefully shortly after New Year’s Day. In fact, the snippet posted above was just completed a couple of days ago.

Speaking of ‘The End Times’… This Scenario is Likely to Play Into My Next Novel (and Maybe the Last One).

This post will be short, but it is something I must write as I now do scriptural research regarding the so-called “end times” which likely leads to ‘the great tribulation.’ Of course, only God knows, but still….it just seems like we are heading into this time frame.

Do not assume the war between Israel and Iran sparked this scenario; after all, the two nations have been wanting to ‘war’ each other for years now. All those videos and pictures of Israeli PM Netanyahu claiming Iran is building a nuclear weapon….since the 90s! Then you have various US officials claiming Iran does not have nukes… but they have enrichment facilities that US president Trump wants them to shut down… There are time I wonder if Trump thinks he controls the Middle East… Hmmmmmmm….. He claims to want peace but seems to be threatening Iran’s government, which, right now according to videos and news sources, is bombing the heck out of Israel! My advice to Trump (not that he cares, but still….)–let these two nations fight it out and do not get the US militarily involved in this (you know, the draft? Remember Vietnam? I do, which is why I hate war! My brother lost one of his best friends…for nothing!)

Harking back to my previous post which states that the Bible claims there will be wars and rumors of wars and nations against nations and earthquakes in various places and famines (Gaza, but maybe also North Korea, parts of Africa, and other places) and also persecution of believers on Christ (including in Israel, where Christian broadcast networks show videos of Orthodox Jews spitting on Christians there), all of this is happening now; however, these events have been going on for many, many years. Can one recall any year over the past several hundred years that had no wars, no earthquakes, no famines, no religious persecution of believers, including persecutions of Christians…by Christians? Reformation and all that…. So, it isn’t as if these events are just happening now. But they do seem to be having a more negative effect.

Finally, technocracy is rising, which reminds me of what Christ said about ‘the days of Noah.’ During the days of Noah, what are now considered technocrats were, back then, folks who messed with human DNA. Genesis Chapter Six says it all: the sons of God (fallen angels) mated with the daughters of men to produce “giants” also called “nephelim”–part human, part non-human… Or, today it might be called “transhuman,” where folks are implanted with chips or whatever that changes DNA (uh, Covid “vaccines” maybe?). To where humans merge with “the cloud” or technology to “live forever.”

And another thing which is concerning: AI, or “artificial intelligence,” which can create whatever written paper or video or picture out of thin air with some form of human guidance…or not. This AI generation can possibly even create a fake “rapture” in order to get those believers of the so-called “pre-trib rapture” of the church–who see beings being “raptured” in the air but are not “raptured” themselves–to “backslide” against Christ because they thought they’d be raptured and were not–which angers them maybe into thinking all that Biblical prophecy stuff is BS and leave the Body of Christ behind….now wouldn’t Satan or the Anti-Christ love that one! It is this “fake rapture” possibility that is causing me to do more research on end-times prophecy and a likely conclusion there is no “pre-trib rapture.” It is more likely to happen AFTER the tribulation when the “wrath of God” takes place and Christ returns, the “second coming”…whenever that will be. Only God knows, and I suspect modern-day prophecy preachers have no clue.

More to come soon…but I will be busy this week and next week. Cheers!

A Future Novel? Hmmmmmm….

It has been a few weeks since my last post, but that is because I have not been able to decide what the next post would be—another snippet post, or something completely different?

This will be something different, because over the last couple of weeks (while busy with other stuff), thoughts or inspirations have entered my mind regarding a possible new novel, but related to previous novels (most likely, another spin-off of The Prodigal Band Trilogy, as The Murder Rule is).

After completing the third novel in the trilogy, The Prodigal Band, I considered writing an “aftermath” type novel explaining what happens after the climactic events of this novel—after the band rescues keyboard-synthist Bry’s wife Mo from the evil satanically possessed Mark Besst who was about to impale her, the satan-figure, Corion, captures Besst within the evil red crystal the evil one uses to capture human souls. Further, the good spirit being used by God’s angels, the Tooters, called Morwenna, returns “home” to heaven, her missions having been accomplished, as she lets her employers, singer Erik and his wife, Ger, know via a note she left for them.

But, then what? Is there more to this story? The narrator of this novel, pop culture pundit Lloyd Denholm, surmises at the end of the novel that the prodigal band members, given “missions of God” by the Tooters, will complete their missions and spend eternity in Heaven, being “good and faithful servants.”

Thus, I have been thinking how this “aftermath” plays out. The six band members complete their missions, and pass on at some point, souls in Heaven. However, what is Heaven really like? Is it that “void” I’ve had them in, a white, timeless, soundless, sight-less, void that contains “dots” or “lines” as they move through the void? (Note: refer to Chapter Eleven of The Prodigal Band.) The Bible mentions “streets of gold,” “crystal seas,” and other beauty, but still…what does it look like for sure? What does God look like…after all, the Book of Genesis says God made man in His—actually, “our” image—while the Gospel of John Chapter One says “the Word” (Christ) was with God and was God. Thus “our” image…but still, what do these “images” look like? What does the Judgment Seat (Book of Revelation) look like? What does the “accuser,” Satan, look like…and does he have “devil horns”?

The other possibility is an “aftermath” predicting the “end times” narrated by one of the novel characters, possibly one from The Murder Rule, with a scenario of how the next few years historically and spiritually plays out, for we do seem to be entering what looks to be very dangerous times, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places…for instance, several in my area north of here, possibly due to oil fracking (after all, north of me is the Permian Basin, where the oil producing industry is huge, likely the largest in the US). And all those preachers predicting end-times events (such as the timing of ‘the rapture,’ and more…only God knows, right?).

So that, hopefully soon, I will be inspired, somehow, to begin writing the next novel, for it seems to me that time is getting short.

Happy Resurrection Day, Easter, Passover…Call It What You Will

Or what God wills…

This will be a short post, but I wanted to tell the reader the message in the title of this post. Because the message really is this: look to the Man who died on the cross and then rose from the dead for salvation, in a world where any other salvation is hard to find, where depression is rampant, where sickness abounds, and where there are many who need a guiding hand. Where politics seems to screw everything up, because politics will not save you. US president Trump is doing some good things…seems all presidents and national leaders do some good things, but they also do bad or wrong things and maybe a wrong spirit is guiding them. A fanaticism, and religious fanaticism is part of that as well. That’s one reason I do not support “Christian nationalism.” And was our Lord and Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ political? He was anything but! That could be a reason Roman governor Pontius Pilate found no wrong in Him, but King Herod and the religious leaders of the day, the Sanhedrin Pharisees and Sadducees, found lots of wrong in Him…which was why He was crucified instead of rebel leader Barabbas.

I will pray for the readers of this post and any other post on this site, and I will pray for anyone who has bought and/or read any of my novels, as well as the “guide for Christian authors,” Talent for a Mission, which I have posted chapter-by-chapter on this site.

Of course, I have my doubts as to the righteousness of the national, state, and local governing bodies, executive, legislative, or judicial, for corruption is rampant, but I will pray for these folks anyway.

And the media as well, the same media that is pushing the notion that Trump will go to war with Iran even though he is supposedly meeting with Iranian officials. War with Iran? God forbid! We’ve lost only God knows how many young men in these God awful wars for no reason other than to enrich the military-industrial complex. Some in the media say Trump will go to war against Iran on behalf of Israel, Iran’s main enemy.

My opinion? If Israel wants war with Iran, let them go to war with Iran, and leave us Americans out of it! They don’t need us, and they have nukes. And, oh yeah…the memory of what Israel did to the USS Liberty in 1967, murdering 34 American sailors and admitting this crime in their media in 2011 (while the US govt. continues to cover this up…I guess this truth is “antisemitic”….) And, while I cannot support Iran’s theocratic radical Shiite Muslim govt. which persecutes Christians there, guess what? Iran, due to its theocracy and persecution, is turning to Christ! Underground, of course, and the same with North Korea. Would be nice if Israel did as well, but those Talmudic extremists have too much fun spitting on Christians…and not just Palestinians ones, either… Go to former Israeli-now-American Jewish extremist-turned-Christian Stephen Ben Nun at his YouTube Israeli News Live channel for proof of this. And regarding Israel, I pray that these folks and especially their far-right govt. turn from their Talmudic anti-Christ ways and seek His salvation…and all the world doing the same thing!

So, Happy Resurrection Day…or Easter…or Passover…and blessings to you and yours!

The Influence That the Prodigal Band’s Women Had in the Repentance of the Prodigal Band, Part Five: More of the Likely Conversion of the Band’s Wives, Continued

As stated in the previous post, Part Four of the influence that the band’s women had in the repentance of the band and accepting Christ as Savior, this post features snippets where synthist Bry’s wife Mo has her say in this influence and also guitarist-producer Mick and drummer Tom discuss this issue. The snippets, also from Chapter Ten of The Prodigal Band, © 2018 Deborah Lagarde, are below.

Meanwhile, walking along Altuna Beach near Jack’s in the moonlight

“Are you still queer, Mick?” Tom asked.

“No.”

The drummer and guitarist planned to leave for their respective homes the next morning.

“We all have a lot of things we need to ask forgiveness for.” Mick stared straight ahead. “Not just me, you know.”

“I know that, but some sins are harder to deal with than others.” Looked at Mick who was still staring ahead. “And mine is thinking I’ve committed fewer sins than the rest of you.”

Pordengreau stopped. “Really, Tom? I think each of our sins are equally bad. That’s because most of our sins were against ourselves.”

“Yeh, but the greatest sin was us thinking we were gods and being idols to millions. I’ve glanced through the Bible from time to time, and the sin God really hated the most was when people worshiped other gods. I mean, whole nations were destroyed because of it.”

“You really, really think even one of our fans actually worshiped us? And even if they did, that’s their problem, not ours.”

“Mick, Mick, Mick, we promoted ourselves as ‘the greatest band ever.’ If that’s not actually promoting ourselves as gods, it’s pretty bloody close. I’d say close enough to incur the wrath of God.”

“What ‘wrath of God’? Don’t you think that would have happened by now?”

“The crisis Mick, remember?”

The other rolled his eyes. “For bloody sake, we got through that one, eh, without death and destruction. In fact,” Mick got in Tom’s face, “why would God give us a mission if he thought we were some kind of abomination?”

Tom thought a minute.

“I think we were close to becoming something close to the worst thing, but because through all the ‘greatest band ever’ shit, we kept our perspective. Every time it looked like we’d act like gods, we did something to screw that up. At the height of our fame and fortune, we went into seclusion and then everything went to hell.”

“Yeh, Tom,” Mick sighed, “but we still have a lot to answer for.”

Then Tom stopped though Mick walked straight ahead. “Yeh, but I have a question that needs answering now.”

Yet Mick, though hearing him, kept on walking, not wanting to hear it.

“And that question is,” Tom went on, “are we really doing this mission or are we just gonna go through the motions?”

No answer.

The following morning, at the McClellan ranch house, Texas

Mo McClellan strolled out of the ranch house to meet Bry, who was exiting the SUV he’d driven home from the airport.

“How was it?”

He slammed the door. “It sucked, actually. But we did get the song.” Sarcastic grunt.

Wonderful, she thought as he briskly passed her by. Followed him into the house where she saw him thrash the overnight bag onto the leather couch halfway across the thousand-square-foot living room, nearly knocking over a spittoon.

“Guess what, Mo?” he yelled out in disgust. “Now we’re gonna have to be Jesus freaks.” Another grunt. “Let’s see now,” knocking over furniture, bounding to the bag that he was preparing to toss into the nearest hallway, “we’ve gone from totally irreligious to pagan religion to heretics to ‘unless we accept Christ as our Savior we have no business doing this song that we have to do because some stupid statue gave us a mission of God and some stupid witch told us to do the song as part of the mission.”

“Bry—” Mo tried to calm him.

“And the rest of the band is in denial. They’re all thinking of ways to get on with this mission without having to become Christian. They,” turning to face Mo, “they really think that it’s okay to do a song that just might convert a few million fans to Christianity, and not do it themselves. Do you know what that makes us?”

Mo answered, half in jest, “Hypocrites?”

“Right.” Bry then stomped over to another couch and flung himself on it. “I mean, the whole trip sucked. We were hiking up this trail to Bobby’s, and the first thing you know Erik collapses from exhaustion. What a weakling! So Bobby has to bring him up in a four-wheeler—well, actually, he brought us all up!” Laughs. “There we are, six of the richest guys on the planet, and none of us in shape. None of us is healthy enough to make a one mile hike at an altitude of about six thousand feet. We might as well be Chinese Empress Dowagers being hauled around in a litter all day!” Another loud laugh as he threw his arms out to her. “We are such bloody fat cats, eh?”

She sat down opposite him, holding back a laugh of irony.

“So we get to his place, dying of thirst, and he tells us a witch—oh, and, by the way, that witch is now working for Ger.”

”Morwenna? A witch?” Mo was more shocked than surprised.

“Right. Morwenna. She told him to get his song to us any way he could do it, and that we have to perform this song as part of our so-called mission, which we agreed to do. Erik—who may have had a slight heart attack on the hike yesterday for bloody sake—says he really wants to do it, but he for one doesn’t sound like he’s converting to Christianity any time soon. And neither is anyone else in the band. I don’t want to, either, but at least I don’t think we can get by not doing it.”

All Mo could say was, “Then you do have a problem, eh?”

“Yeh,” he smirked, then went upstairs to the master bedroom, thinking. It’s gonna take an act of God to get us to believe.

The next post is undecided, and when it will be posted is also undecided, but I hope I have something to post before Easter, aka Resurrection Day, April 20.

The Influence That the Prodigal Band’s Women Had in the Repentance of the Prodigal Band, Part Three: The Conversion of the Band’s Wives Begins

As stated in the previous post, the conversions of the wives of the members of the prodigal band begins in Chapter Ten of The Prodigal Band with Morwenna, formerly a Godly spirit being, now human, influencing the women to accept Christ. This begins with singer Erik’s wife, Ger, who had hired Morwenna as her personal assistant. While Erik (as well as the rest of the band) was away meeting with a former roadie who composed a song for the band to perform, Morwenna is meeting with Ger after she and the rest of the band’s women had met in the atrium of Ger’s estate, as posted in the previous post, Part Two. The snippet related to this is below:

The Influence That the Prodigal Band’s Women Had in the Repentance of the Prodigal Band, Part One: Princess Tina’s Reference to Her Secret Lover, Drummer Tom, About Reading the Bible

This new series of posts deals with how the prodigal band members’ women, whether wives or lovers, influenced the band members to consider repenting of their sinful and debauched lifestyles, giving up “toeing the line of the masters of the music industry,” and ultimately, turning to Christ and the forces of Good, renouncing the forces of evil. This Part One post features prodigal band drummer Tom and his lover and future wife, Princess Tina, a member of a royal family within the fictitious principality of Leandro, set within Italy.

At a secret meeting between Princess Tina, who was forced to marry the evil Duke of Effingchester, but who loves band drummer Tom, Tina informs Tom that her husband and others are meeting with band guitarist and recording producer Mick, who also heads the band’s indie record label, Foray. They wanted to get Mick and the band to sell the record label to one of them. Tom believes that if the label is sold to one of them and controlled by the conglomerate he owns, the band would then be a ‘slave’ to the owner of the conglomerate and would have to produce music the owner demands instead of producing what they choose to produce. The meeting takes place at a London park in the summer of 1999. From  Chapter Seven of The Prophesied Band, copyright © 1998 Deborah Lagarde). The snippet is below:

The Prodigal Band’s ‘Missions of God’: Snippets On How the Prodigal Band Carries Them Out (Part Six): Keyboard-Synthist Bryan’s Mission (Part A)

The final parts of this series on the band’s given missions of God concern the keyboard-synthist Bryan, also called Bry, who is also well connected with bikers, which mostly make up the band’s roadies. Bear in mind that his parents, also musicians, were hard-core atheists and obsessed with Darwinian evolution theory.

Here is an irony—the first biker Bryan had ever met was Christian!

The snippet below, from Chapter Twelve of The Prodigal Band (© 2018 Deborah Lagarde), explains part of why Bry considered accepting Christ, as he tells the rest of the band and manager Joe Phillips, in his ‘revelation.’ After telling then that a Christian summer camp worker convinced him Darwinian evolution was bogus, he then brings up this Christian biker he’d met at a previous local Walltown music festival in 1981.

The Prodigal Band’s ‘Missions of God’: Snippets On How the Prodigal Band Carries Them Out (Part Five): Bassist Keith’s Mission

Next up is the mission of prodigal band bassist Keith, who, unlike drummer Tom, as well as guitarist Jack and, to a lesser extent, singer Erik, never experienced a day of poverty in his life. Not only did he grow up in a solidly middle-class family, but his kin folks were well known to be heavily involved in the music field. His grandfather was an orchestra conductor, classical music composer, and orchestra bassist and viola musician as well. His father played in a somewhat successful early rock band on electric bass. Both taught Keith on acoustic and electric bass at an early age; he was a child prodigy on bass, and bass was his thing, though he also did backing vocals.

But his other passion was being a local gang member who would also be a leader of sorts. That was why Keith was given the mission of God that he was given, aided by the fact that he was part-Afro on his mother’s side. After all, many street gangs then and now have black members. From Chapter Ten of The Prophesied Band (© 1998 Deborah Lagarde) is the mission given by one of God’s angels, the Tooters, during the final singing note at the local music festival in 2000:

Keith only stood in wonder and listened as Tooter Two spoke to him.

“As always, Keith Mullock, you will listen to and do what your leader Jack says. He will instruct you in His Word. And this is what you will do with it, for you are a true son of the working-classes and gang youth brother. You will use His Inspired Word to bring the blue-collar youth and the youth of the streets into His fold so that the discouraged, the disaffected, and the gang youth of violence will turn their energies into serving their Creator and His Son before it’s too late. And in this way, worker’s son of The Code, you can fulfill your promise to live by it.”
