I originally wanted to set up a PayPal account so that those who wanted to purchase either the full trilogy or the separate Battle of the Band and The Prophesied Band could easily do so using credit cards. Aside from the fact that PayPal has banned some sellers due to “offensive” speech or items and various Patreon accounts, the reason I will not be setting up a PayPal account is the FEE they charge sellers for using PayPal–I was unaware of this when I originally wanted to set up the account. If PayPal charges a FEE based on sale price that would mean I would have up the price for books that I sold myself from this site (not from Amazon and other online sellers). It’s enough that I have to charge not only for the book but also for the shipping (using book rate) and also for the gasoline required to drive to the Post Office and back home in order to ship the book (roughly 60 plus miles!) Further, various PayPal accounts have been hacked over the years! In any case, who is to say either way that PayPal will actually put what is owed in my bank account? Or will protect the privacy of this account? Remember Phishing scams?
