Snippet Posts from The Prodigal Band Aftermath: The Allies for Good Form Their Organization to Fight Evil

The first snippet post, from Chapter Five of The Prodigal Band Aftermath (© copyright 2026 Deborah Lagarde), continues the meeting at narrator Lloyd Denholm’s apartment between him, Morwenna, Selwynu, Joe, Swinton and Agent P, where they decide to form their group that will figure out a way to thwart the evil of the Lucosiris evil secret society that Selwynu has infiltrated along with the tyranny of Dumlat’s Origin operating system, Gen’s ‘one world government’ beast system and Manidees evil ‘one world religion’ system.

July, 2027: Morwenna Introduces Selwynu at my apartment (continued from previous post)

Selwynu, over the course of this meeting, then regurgitated what the rest of us already knew about the Lucosiris Club and the world leaders it controlled along with the rest of the ‘new order’ secret societies,’ their agendas and their avenues to complete control over humanity. Of course, this included Dumlat’s ‘Origin Operating System’ and the false ‘happiness mode’ this system would engage upon the masses.

The meeting, having lasted a few hours, caused us to agree to meet one month later, again at my apartment in Richmont. One issue to be discussed was this—would we, as a group whereby most of us had connections to members of ‘the elites’ who opposed this nefarious scenario, give our group an organizational title, a ‘name’? A secret name or a not-so-secret name? Further—was there a possibility that we, a ‘named’ group or not, could work out a secure method to stop the Origin and other ‘systems’ from taking over control of humanity, without totally shutting down the world’s electrical and power grid systems and online communication? A ‘hack the system’ for good?

In thinking about this plan to disrupt the evil, I had a funny feeling Morwenna would be clued in to this plan we wanted to engage in.

Sure enough.

However, a second snippet post, from Chapter Six of The Prodigal Band Aftermath, features another meeting, in August, 2027, to announce the name of the organization, and discussion over the name.

August, 2027, at Lloyd’s Richmont Apartment

“Anna Logger?” Swinton cocked his head in wonder how in the world did anyone come up with this weird group name.

“I feel the same way you do, Swinton. Anna Logger? What kind of name is that?” For I had no idea that some name no one would ever suspect would be some sort of group title would actually be the name of the group who would do whatever we could to stop the minions of evil from taking over this world, and to stop the masses of this world from supporting this evil.

Morwenna, as to be expected, explained why the group name ‘Anna Logger’ made perfect sense for an organization whose job was to stop the evil from reaching the power they sought after.

“We are fighting the complete takeover of the world using digital platforms, correct? And what is a technological substitute for digital?”

She looked at us as if she was expecting one of us to answer.

Finally, Agent P replied, with a questionable look on his face, “Analog?”

Morwenna smiled. “Yes! Analogue! You know, ‘Anna Logger’?”

A feeling of truthfulness dawned on us all.

“You got it, Morwenna!” I shouted.

And then cheers, and not only from myself, Joe, Swinton, Agent P, and Selwynu. For there were several others at this meeting to form the group that would do whatever could be done to thwart the evil of the Lucosiris Club and its satanic minions.

The next post will be in late September, and will continue with the meeting in August, 2027, continuing with the snippet post above.

Born on Long Island, NY, in 1952, now live in the mountains of far west Texas. Began writing fiction stories at about 8 years old with pen and loose leaf paper, and created the characters in my Prodigal Band Trilogy as a teenager. From the 70s to the 90s I created the scenario which I believe was inspired. While bringing up and home schooling my two children I continued to work on the novels and published "Battle of the Band" in 1996 and "The Prophesied Band" in 1998. Took off the next several years to complete home schooling and also working as an office manager for the local POA. In 2016, I retired, then resumed The Prodigal Band, a FREE PDF book that tells the whole story to its glorious end. Hint: I'm a true believer in Christ and I'm on a mission from God, writing to future believers, not preaching to the choir. God gave me a talent and, like the band in my books, I am using that talent for His glory, not mine (and, like me, the band is on its own journey, only fictional.) I also wrote for my college newspaper and headed up production, was a columnist in a local newspaper in the early 2000s, and wrote for and edited "Log of the Trail," the news letter for the Texas Mountain Trail Writers, and wrote for and edited it's yearly catalog of writings, "Chaos West of the Pecos." OmegaBooks is my self-publishing sole proprietorship company founded in 1995. Other jobs included teaching secondary math, health aide, office worker, assembly line work, and free-lance writing and bookkeeping, much of it while home schooling.
