This post will likely be the only December post, for the Christmas holidays are coming and I will be away from computer for most of these days and afterwards as well.
I have written and posted four articles over the last few years related to using fiction to tell the truth and expose evil, as using fiction will less likely bring about the kind of censorship and level of censorship that is rife these days. While using non-fiction seems to make more sense for empowering the truth about what is happening in the world today, the doers of this evil rife in the world today, the deceivers, the scoundrels, and the ‘woke’ crowd that gaslight, bully, and turn against the truth-tellers, will do whatever is necessary to stop the truth-tellers that use non-fiction. It is likely harder for these evil doers to prevent fiction writers from exposing evil while telling the truth because, after all, it’s “fiction,” right? But here’s the thing—truth is NOT FICTION! Even if the truth is within fiction!
Examples: Many are now calling Goerge Orwell’s magnum opus novel “1984” an actual present-day manual for how governments work. And it isn’t just well-known totalitarian governments such as in North Korea, either. Folks now are claiming that the United Kingdom is now totalitarian, passing laws banning certain truths on social media the government does not approve of. Same in much of the west. Funny how European governments are banning protests against Israel’s ethnic cleansing of Palestinians while letting hordes of Muslims from the Middle East and Africa into their countries! And in the US, there is a possibility that a “law” called the Antisemitism Awareness Act will ban verses from the Bible—yes, the Bible!—that state (the Gospels) that Jews—the Pharisees and Sanhedrin and regular folks calling for the acquittal of murderer Barabbas and the crucifixion of Christ while Roman governor Pontius Pilate wants Christ acquitted—cannot be blamed for Christ’s crucifixion because to do so is “antisemitic.” Never mind that the Jewish holy book the Talmud also claims Jews murdered Christ! So, the Talmud is truthful but the Bible isn’t?
And then you have Aldous Huxley, in his magnum opus, “Brave New World,” telling the truth about the future where elite scientists create test-tube babies based on “class” and “intelligence.” Well guess what? There have been “test-tube” babies being “born” for many years as “parents” want “smart” babies, not stupid babies they think they’ll give birth to because they have “flaws” in their genetics, so they think. I suspect that Huxley, a member of an elite family of Britain, might have had suspicions that “test-tube babies” would certainly inhabit the future…the near future, that is.
Then you have Ray Bradbury’s magnum opus “Fahrenheit 451,” where governments use police and firefighters to burn books they don’t approve of. While I don’t see books being burned, some books, mostly non-fiction books—and, as mentioned above, the Bible—are either being banned from libraries and schools or might possibly be in the future (and will Christian groups allow the New Testament if not the entire Bible to be banned…and will the Talmud also be banned? Hmmmmmm…
Now, have any of these novels been banned or dismissed in schools or in libraries? Some public schools in woke areas have stopped putting these novels within reading curriculums, but many public schools, mostly high schools, still have these novels within English subject curriculums. Because they’re fiction. And maybe also because student parents remember back when in the days that nearly all public high schools had students read these novels. I read “1984” in ninth grade English and “Brave New world” in twelfth grade. I read “Fahrenheit 451” later. And have seen movies based on all three novels.
Then you have fiction novels based on true stories or truth within a certain scenario or lifestyle that the powers-that-be do not want exposed. Or criminal events. And what better way to expose what is really behind the event than using fiction? And another thing—fiction writers often use pen names, such as George Orwell, whose real name was Eric Blair. Aldous Huxley used his real name, likely knowing that he would not likely be banned, being from an elite family within the Fabian Society.
Thus, while it is more likely parts of the Bible will be banned, will fiction novels that are based on Bible scripture, such as parables—such as my The Prodigal Band Trilogy—also be banned because the government hates Christianity or Christ, as the world, according to some Bible prophecy teachers, is entering “the end times” and the “great tribulation” ruled over by the Anti-Christ?
